The 15-year-old aspiring actor publicly debuted his drag persona ‘Divine Devon’ in the November 11th episode of the Bravo reality show alongside his supportive parents.

‘I did it because it was just fun. It’s a very shallow reason, but it’s the most true. I find it kind of funny that everyone thinks I’m gay now,’ Jacob told Confessional Magazine on Tuesday.

‘I’m not gay. Everyone thinks my dad and I are both gay but we’re both straight men, we are just very effeminate, you know? I think that there should be more representation of straight effeminate men. When I dress up, it’s a super strong character, and since I’m an actor, I love that.’

Windham-Burke was introduced to drag by his big sisters dressing him up ‘all the time’ and even asked his 43-year-old mother ‘for heels for Christmas.’

The Newport Beach native – who finds wigs ‘uncomfortable’ – described meeting RuPaul’s Drag Race: All Stars #1 champ Chad Michaels as ‘the best day of my life.’

Jacob has even gone to his ‘really progressive’ liberal arts high school in ‘heels and women’s clothing for fun’ and said everyone was ‘super accepting.’

As for the hate his famous mother receives, Windham-Burke said he’s used to it because he’s ‘grown up online’ and it ‘doesn’t matter at all.’

‘Random hate doesn’t matter. If it’s constructive criticism, you should take that, but if it’s just hate, that doesn’t matter at all,’ the musical theatre buff said.

‘That’s the only reason why most people are doing it. They just want to get a reaction.’

‘I like women. I’m gay. I’m a member of the LGBTQ+ community. It has taken me 42 years to say that but I am so proud of where I am right now,’ Windham-Burke announced.

‘I’m so happy where I am. To be able to be comfortable in my own skin after so long is just so nice. I’m just now starting to feel like I’m becoming the woman I’m supposed to be. I’ve always known it, but it took me, personally, 42 years to be comfortable in my own skin to say that.’
