JULIAN ALVAREZ wants to leave the same kind of mark on Manchester City that his fellow Argentine Sergio Aguero did.
The 22-year-old forward arrives at his new home this weekend after sealing a £14 million switch from River Plate in January.

Alvarez is already an established international for Argentina and comes with a reputation as one of the hottest young talents in South America.
He will have a lot to live upto if he is to emulate Aguero, who scored 260 goals in his 10 years at the Etihad and is the club’s all-time leading scorer.
But after choosing City ahead of a host of other top European clubs who wanted him, he can’t wait to get started.
Alvarez said: “City has an amazing recent history of Argentinian players and I want to put my stamp on the club in the same way Sergio, Pablo Zabaleta and Carlos Tevez did.

“I feel confident I can flourish here. The style of play Pep encourages is exciting and I can’t wait to be part of it.
“I am incredibly happy and ready to play for City.
“This is without doubt one of the biggest teams in world football. You only have to see what this team has won in the last decade to understand the quality of the set-up.
“I am thankful for everything River Plate did for me and I want to thank the fans, staff and players for their support.

“But I am now 100% focussed on City. I want to give my best to this club, help my team-mates and contribute to Manchester City’s success.”
Fellow new arrival Erling Haaland might have grabbed a lot of the headlines but City are quietly confident they have found a real gem in Alvarez.
They have waved goodbye to Gabriel Jesus and Raheem Sterling is set to follow him out of the exit door imminently.
Director of football Txiki Begiristain believes they landed a natural goalscorer in Alvarez.
He said: “I said when we announced the signing we were getting a player of significant potential and everything we have seen from him since then has only confirmed that.
“He scores all kinds of goals and has real variety in his game.
“We feel with the manager and staff we have here he can develop even further and become a really top player.”
