‘Looks great’: Mrs Hinch fan shares best way to prevent smeary shower screen – ‘lifesaver’

Mrs Hinch – real name Sophie Hinchcliffe – rose to fame after she started to share cleaning tips and tricks online. Now with more than four million followers, fans of the cleaning guru often share their own finds on dedicated Facebook pages.

Sophie Robson said: “Any shower spray does the job, it’s a lifesaver.”

Shower sprays help to prevent soap scum, dissolve mildew as well as hard water stains.

As well as using a spray after every shower, it is also advised to disinfect the area at least once a week.

This can help to prevent bacteria and germs forming.

What’s more, they are super affordable and can be purchased for as little as 50p.

Other fans had more unusual hacks including using washing up liquid to clean the shower screen.

Ali Hinds said: “Washing up liquid and white vinegar in a dish brush once a week and dry it down with a towel after use.”

Patricia Wilson added: “I use the dish brush because it helps to keep my hands dry and works just as good.

“Just make sure to have a separate one for the shower and bathroom.”
