Speaking to The Sun-Herald last year, Julie revealed the surprising fashion advice she was once given by American Vogue editor-in-chief, Anna Wintour.

She said after meeting the British-American journalist, 71, in 2019, she now can’t live without sneakers.

Elsewhere in the interview, the former deputy leader of the Liberal Party revealed she had lived in ‘Armani, Louis Vuitton and Isabel Marant sneakers’ amid the start of the coronavirus pandemic, whereas previously she would wear ‘Aquazzura black stiletto pumps’.
