BECOMING a new parent is very challenging and can be extremely difficult to deal with at times.
One thing that all parents expect with a newborn baby is a huge change to their sleep routine.

It’s far from ideal, but is a fact of life – it takes time for little ones to sleep through the night, leaving many parents exhausted at the lack of sleep.
But one woman has been left stunned at her man’s behaviour following his newfound lack of sleep.
And his own mother was left even more shocked, when her adult son asked her to move back home on a part-time basis, as he was struggling to sleep at his house after welcoming a baby with his girlfriend.
After struggling to cope with the new lack of sleep, the new dad decided to take drastic measures to try and get some shut eye, by asking his family to move home on a part-time basis.

And no, he didn’t ask to move back for just a couple of nights, the man asked to move back into his family home for five nights a week.
The man’s mother was left shocked and took to parenting forum Mumsnet to ask other parents for advice.
Posting on Mumsnet, the woman explained her conundrum in a post titled: “Adult son wants to move back mon-fri to ‘get a night’s sleep’.”
She explained that her 27-year-old son recently welcomed a baby with his girlfriend and was struggling with being woken up throughout the night.

The woman revealed that her daughter-in-law “thinks the idea is outrageous and he should just ‘get on with it’”.
But the mother admitted that she feels “a bit confused as to why he is even asking.”
She continued: “Surely other new parents don’t do this?
“I get sleep deprivation is hard, but I am not overly enamoured with this idea.
“But I don’t want to be unsupportive either – how would you respond?”
Fellow Mumsnet users were quick to blast the woman’s son, with many left outraged at his proposal.
One person wrote: “You say no for the sake of his gf wellbeing.”
A second agreed: “How would you have felt if he’d left you 5 days a week when he was a baby?! Have a word with your son and tell him to grow up.”
A third added: “I think I’d be giving him a very sharp talking to about being a parent and not thinking it was acceptable to leave it all to his girlfriend. Silly, selfish boy.”
