The 34-year-old model, who shares three children – twins Leo and Penelope, eight, and Felicity, five – with the comedian, 48, has officially confirmed the pair have made the “difficult decision” to separate.

And just last week, Christine – who recently went on a make or break holiday to Center Parcs – opened up to Fabulous about her marriage troubles.
“I can’t deny right now is a very, very difficult time for us. I’m feeling really quite raw and all over the place,” she told our Celebrity Editor, Kelly Allen.
“It’s just, we’ve been together 15 years – 11 years married.
“We are gonna have ups and downs, but this situation at the minute…I don’t want to go into it too much, but I will just say that I didn’t cause this situation.”

“But I was a teenager when I met him and I’m a 34-year-old woman now, so I suppose what I might have put up with in the past, I probably wouldn’t put up with now – and the same for him.”
The pair today posted identical statements on Instagram where they opened up about the “difficult decision” to separate.
While any break up is difficult, it’s likely to be a particularly devastating time for Christine, who has always been vocal about her desire to have a stable family, with two loving parents at the centre.
Opening up to Sophie Ellis-Bextor on her Spinning Plates podcast, Christine revealed the simple things she wants for her kids after growing up with a drug addicted father, who would inject in front of her as a teenager.
“We didn’t have it easy growing up, my dad is a heroin addict, he started heroin before I was born. My mum left and raised me and my brother and sister on her own,” she said.
“I just wanted them to have hot water and a nice house, nothing to the extent that of what I’ve got, this is beyond my wildest dreams.”
In her autobiography, A Beautiful Nightmare, the former model who won Miss Liverpool aged 18, also admitted how she was “obsessed” with being the “perfect wife.”
“I wanted to create the perfect family,” she said. “I wanted a mummy or daddy at home with the children. I wanted them to be surrounded by love and laughter.”
