The mayor of Inglewood, James Butts would note that they do not know why the man came on property or entered the artificial lake.
“Honestly, this is someone who made a conscious decision to trespass on the property, get into the lake, and he ended up having some distress and difficulty,” he said
Butts continued: “So I don’t think there’s anything that SoFi could have done to prevent this.”
The drowning of the unidentified man is now the fifth death to have occurred in a string of chilling cases since 2020 at SoFi stadium.
