The outing comes as it was recently revealed Amelia ad-libbed a lengthy speech in Game Of Thrones’s fake language of Valyrian.

The news about Emilia’s ad-libbing scenes came from Game Of Thrones book Fire Cannot Kill A Dragon, written by Entertainment Weekly writer James Hibberd.

It happened in the fifth episode of Season 5, entitled Kill The Boy, where Emilia’s character Daenerys Targaryen decided to send a message to three Meereen noblemen.

Daenerys had gathered three heads of noble Meereen families, after the death of one of her trusted confidants.

Jeremy Podeswa, who directed that episode, revealed in the book that the speech Dany delivers to the three noblemen was originally in English, but things changed.

He recalled: ”Then [showrunners David Benioff and Dan Weiss] came down – they were watching the scene being shot – and they said, “Wouldn’t it be great if the scene was in Valyrian?’

While the show typically featured scenes with characters speaking either Valyrian or Dothraki fake languages, these scenes are typically handled far in advance by the show’s linguist, David Peterson, who crafted both languages.

The actors saying those lines often spend a considerable amount of time rehearsing to get it just right.

But Jeremy decided to ask Emilia if she could try to deliver the speech in Valyrian, just before one of her dragons lights on of the noblemen up.

He added: ‘I went over to Emilia and I was like, “I know this is a really big ask, but do you think you could figure out a way to do this in Valyrian?” She said, “Yeah, sure, I think I can do this.” And I’m all, “Really?”‘

He said that over the course of about 10 minutes, Emilia had, ‘cobbled together things that Daenerys had said in the past that made sense.’

She ultimately delivered a powerful monologue in a rather chilling fashion, with Jeremy offering nothing but praise for Emilia.
