Donny van de Beek put forward fresh Man Utd case without even playing in Liverpool defeat

Even when United led Leeds 5-1 on the opening day of the season, Solskjaer didn’t hand a cameo to Van de Beek.

And even when the game was out of sight against Klopp’s team, Van de Beek was overlooked again. The man just doesn’t get a look in.

But Solskjaer must be asking himself if it is time to give the Netherlands international an opportunity to show what he can do.

Solskjaer has persisted with his preferred midfield duo and it just isn’t paying dividends.
